It looks like the rumored rift between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton has now been forgotten. Reports reveal that the Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge are bonding and getting along so well because of their shared experience as mothers.
According to Us Weekly, the relationship between Meghan and Kate has changed for the better since Baby Sussex, Archie Harrison was born. Sources said that the two duchesses are expected to spend a lot of time together as their children are growing up.
Kate and Prince William visited Meghan and Prince Harry almost a week after the Duchess of Sussex gave birth to Archie. A royal reporter confirmed via Twitter that the Cambridge royals did visit the Sussex's Frogmore Cottage so that Archie's aunt and uncle could finally meet him.
The Duchess of Cambridge also talked about the newest member of the British royal family with such happiness. In a video interview, Kate said that spring is a special time for the royal family. She expressed her excitement about meeting the new baby and also wished her in-laws well since she knows what it's like to be a first-time parent.
"With [my children] Louis and Charlotte just having had their birthdays, it's such a great time of the year to have a baby," Kate said. "So it's really exciting for both of them. And I'm wishing them the best in these next few weeks. It's always a bit daunting the first time around."
Meanwhile, despite the Cambridges and Sussexes getting in along, there are still royal observers who believe that a rift still exists between Prince Harry and Prince William. Presenters David Koch and Mark Beretta said in a morning show that it was unusual that William and Kate waited a week to see their new nephew, as per Express. The two hosts believe that it was a terrible sign that all is not well with the brothers.
Months before the birth of Archie, rumors emerged that Meghan and Kate were feuding, but a royal correspondent corrected the speculations to say that it was Harry and William who had issues. The problem between the brothers has been going on since Harry started dating his future wife.
William was said to have advised his younger brother to take his relationship with Meghan slow. However, Harry saw William's well-meaning words differently, thus causing a gap in their relationship.
No one knows the exact circumstances in the royal family, even with what can be seen in the press. Everything remains speculation, despite different reports confirming or denying the rift.
