After a lot of teasers and cryptic messages on the singer's social media accounts, DJ Khaled has finally dropped his newest album entitled The Father of Asahd.

DJ Khaled dropped The Father of Asahd on May 17, after what seemed like too-long a wait for his fans and supporters worldwide. The album features several fresh and modern tracks in collaboration with a handful of renowned and talented artists of this day.

The artist talked about where he drew inspiration from his 11th major studio record. DJ Khaled shared that the inspiration for The Father of Asahd quite literally came from parenthood. More specifically, the very source of it all comes from what he claims to be his greatest blessing---his 2-year-old son.

Part of DJ Khaled's new album track list are the songs "Celebrate," in collaboration with Travis Scott and Post Malone, and "Wish Wish" featuring Cardi B and 21 Savage. Aside from that, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Big Sean came together to collaborate on the track "Jealous."

Moreover, the late rapper and artist, Nipsey Hussle, who was shot and then later died of gunshot wounds in March, is featured in the album's track "Higher," together with the great John Legend.

The two artists, besides DJ Khaled himself, will also appear in the track's music video which was filmed and completed earlier this year before Hussle passed away.

DJ Khaled posted a little tribute message to Hussle on his Instagram account last Wednesday. He talked of how, before the tragic incident happened, the rapper always shared his energy and positivity with everyone on the set of "Higher." Khaled added that he, the co-writers, producers, and label partners would be donating 100% of the proceeds of "Higher" to Hussle's children, Kross and Emani.

Aside from the music video of the track "Higher," it was announced that the producers plan to release seven more music videos. They will be released in the next few days to follow.

What's more is that DJ Khaled's new album will include his collaboration with Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, and Quavo as well, in the track "No Brainer," which was released last year.

DJ Khaled again took to Instagram to express how this album is the most important one to him. He wrote that all the work he put into the creation of The Father of Asahd was for his son and his queen (wife), Nicole Tuck. Added to that, he declared that the album was for all his fans and everyone who believed in him.
