Britney Spears' pursuit to end her conservatorship is running on without a hitch. An insider source reports that things are going smoothly with her court proceedings which will end her conservatorship, an arrangement agreed upon by the music star and her father, Jamie Spears, since 2002.
In the midst of all the rumors are catching on like wildfire about a said feud between the singer and her parents, insider sources have quelled these hearsays. These sources have assured fans that there is no such thing as a big feud happening between Britney and her parents regarding the conservatorship.
It was also clarified that her parents had nothing to do with putting the 37-year-old in a mental health institution or that it was against her will. In fact, she checked herself in of her own accord.
After cancelling her residency in Las Vegas last January, Britney has been spending a lot of time in Los Angeles with her current boyfriend, Sam Asghari. He also happens to be a personal trainer, and the two have been getting a lot of acupuncture, massages, and beauty treatments regularly.
However, whispers of the true reason Britney backed out of the Las Vegas stint have been circulating all over. Although the singer explained that she backed out mainly because of her father's critical condition in November 2018, there have been concurrent rumors that the tickets to her show did not sell well enough.
Britney's fans and supporters have previously analyzed and theorized about the performer's situation with her parents. More outrageous rumors came out about there being a power struggle over the decision on the extent of freedom their daughter is allowed to have. These fans and supporters even came up with a hashtag #FreeBritney and have been continuously trying to find ways to threaten others who have opposing views on social media.
However, insider sources report that the rumors are in fact just rumors. Britney is allowed to go anywhere she wants, whenever she wants. With the exception of liquor stores and the like.
She's very much in touch with Jamie and calls and speaks to him regularly. Britney is also in contact with her mom just as often, and it is said the pop star is currently living in the latter's home.
Nonetheless, there is one thing her parents are disagreeing on with regards to their daughter. Britney badly wants an iPhone or any kind of portal to access the virtual world. However, her parents do not think it is wise to give her the means to access any social media accounts as of now. They fear people with greedy and ulterior motives might get to their daughter, who is currently in what they deem a vulnerable state.
Britney's conservatorship is presently under a court-order review.
