Sophie Turner and her husband Joe Jonas were spotted two days in a row, taking strolls around New York City ahead of the 'Game of Thrones' finale.
The couple were first spotted strolling Friday and dressed for the warm NYC weather. The statuesque blond actress sported the tiniest of black shorts, showing off her long legs. With them she had donned a light blue shirt under a jacket of a darker hue in the same color. She had on some sneakers and black socks and was clutching a water bottle and a purse was on her arm.
Jonas closely twinned her look, but chose to wear long black pants and a blue coat, with a white shirt under it. He sported some blue and white sneakers, with his body bag slung across his body. He was holding on to an Adidas paper bag.
The two sported dark eyewear and were holding hands. Having seen photographers on the prowl, the lively and vivacious English actress showed off some skin and leggy looks as she kicked up her leg to the cameras.
The newlyweds were seen again the next day, Saturday, a day before Turner's fantasy drama series on HBO, Game of Thrones, was to air its final episode. Again, the young couple looked casual while taking their walk, and this time they had brought along their Direwolves-looking Alaskan Klee Kai dogs, which were named Waldo and Porky.
For the uninitiated, Direwolves are creatures from Turner's television show, which will be going on its last run Sunday. The show will have gone one for eight seasons come this season finale. The 23-year-old actress first came out on the popular series which had catapulted her to worldwide fame. She plays the role of Sansa Stark in the series Game of Thrones.
After being on the show for eight years long, the native of Northampton, United Kingdom, is ready to take on the next step in her career. She has already got her role as Jean Grey (Phoenix) for the film Dark Phoenix lined up. In fact, the movie, which is an extended X-Men storyline in the Marvel Comics world, is for initial release in France on June 5, and in theaters worldwide on June 6.
As for Jonas, he has only recently concluded a Saturday Night Live performance in the previous week. This was with the Jonas Brothers' band members, his brothers, Nick and Kevin.
Their band had only recently got back together in a reunion and declared their plans for their latest album, Happiness Begins. Joe, who is 29, Kevin, 31, and Nick, 26, are having the album kick-off plus tours over the summer and fall.
Joe and Sophie were wed just this May 1 in Las Vegas after the Billboard Music Awards, in what was initially thought of as an elopement, a surprise wedding. Recent reports though revealed that the two lovebirds had actually planned to have it that way. Now they are actually preparing for their upcoming French summer wedding.
