It's been a long wait for GLOW Season 3 and fans are still waiting for the new season's official trailer. However, it looks like the wait is almost over. Netflix could finally announce the premiere date and first teaser before the end of May.
The streaming giant has yet to make an official announcement about GLOW Season 3 although people are already expecting an update about the series. There were speculations that the show might get an early release this month, but GLOW wasn't included in Netflix's May lineup. Nevertheless, there is hope that the first official trailer for the third season will finally be dropped within the next few weeks.
The release of the GLOW Season 3 trailer is certainly something to look forward to. After all, the teaser could offer a glimpse at what to look forward to in the next season. In addition to that, the trailer could finally reveal the third season's premiere date.
People were delighted when GLOW was renewed for a third season back in August last year. However, we have yet to learn what will happen to Ruth Wilder and the rest of the members of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. So far, it has only been confirmed that they are heading out to Las Vegas as their shows will be presented at the Riviera.
Not surprisingly, GLOW Season 3 will be all about Las Vegas. Marc Maron, who plays Sam Sylvia in the show, has just confirmed that the characters will be staying in The Entertainment Capital of the World. In addition to that, the ladies will be spending plenty of time out of the ring, and Maron says that fans will "get to know the characters a little more intimately."
"It opens the show up that way, you get a little deeper into these characters' lives, and I think it's going to be real good," Maron said about GLOW Season 3.
Interestingly, things aren't going to be all fun in the upcoming season. Show creator Carly Mensch has stated that Vegas isn't necessarily "a purely optimistic place" for the women. "It's a place that makes us deeply, deeply uncomfortable, and that was exciting for us to take the story, and the women, there to see what happens," she teased.
The GLOW Season 3 has not yet been announced. Nevertheless, the series is currently expected to return on Netflix by late June 2019.
