Spoiler Alert: The following article discusses details on the season finale episode of The Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 titled "The Iron Throne."

Sophie Turner gives a piece of her mind regarding the Game of Thrones' fan criticisms on the last season of the HBO television show.

In her words after the showing Sunday of The Game of Thrones season 8 episode 6, "The Iron Throne," Turner said she understood where the fans' animosity was coming from but did not appreciate the petitions being made against her show of ten years.

In a Change.org petition, fans of the long-running fantasy drama TV series petitioned for the remake of the entire season 8 of The Game of Thrones. The said petition online has already amassed consent from 1.4 million fans who are asking that "competent writers" be employed this time to tell the story of the series' last season.

The 23-year-old actress, who has been on the show since 2011, playing the role of Sansa Stark, gave her opinion on the report, saying that viewers tend to express their opinions strongly when certain events of a show do not go the way they want to. She went on to say that people develop an idea in their heads of how they think a show should finish, and when that does not happen, they "rebel."

She pointed out that there was ever since an "amazing" thing about The Game of Thrones. And it was that, from the start, it has always gone for the unexpected "twists and turns." She pointed out this has been true from the beginning, referring to the "beheading" which took place of the character Ned Stark (played by Sean Bean), which had been a shocking turn of events early on.

It is the same way, she explained, with what happens to Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke), referring to another shocking and "negative" playing out of the story. The English actress went on to admit that the aforementioned character's unexpected character metamorphosis into a "Mad Queen" may have been shocking, but the petitions she considered "disrespectful."

(Spoiler alert for those who have not viewed the episode yet.) The controversial episode showed Daenerys in a seeming craze being stabbed and killed by Jon Snow (played by Kit Harrington).

The newly married actress felt that the calls for a remake of the last season of The Game of Thrones were a tad inconsiderate, bearing in mind all the things that the crew, writers, as well as the filmmakers on the show have done "tirelessly" for the decade-long run, not to mention the "50-something" shoots for a period of eleven months, sometimes into the night, to finish series' last season.

Turner declared that it was "just disrespectful" that people would declare the series' final season as "rubbish" just because the story did not turn out the way they expected it to, after so much "hard" work.

Another spoiler alert, for those who have not viewed the much talked about episode, other details from the finale include Bran Stark (played by Isaac Hemp) getting chosen by Westeros as the next king. Also, Sansa gets him to set the North free and for her to be placed its ruler, this time, as a separate kingdom.

It is noted though that, petition aside, the last episode of The Game of Thrones season 8, "The Iron Throne," broke the record formerly attained by The Sopranos (a 2002 TV series) final episode, which had hit 13.4 million viewers.

The Game of Thrones season 8, "The Iron Throne," reached 19.3 million views (via streaming or cable), now the HBO ratings record to beat.
