Kit Harrington, who plays the iconic Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, has spoken up about the backlash and discontentment of fans on the series' final season.

The hit television series has been receiving tons of criticism from fans and viewers. It seems they are discontented with how things are going in the show's final season.

Fans and enthusiasts took to their social media accounts in order to express their disappointment in the Game of Thrones' final season. They pointed out how there are countless slip-ups in the storyline, one of the issues being the lack of continuity in the first few episodes of the final season.

Others are enraged over how lousy the people on set are for making a very noticeable and, for them, unforgivable, mistake in the filming-a Starbucks cup was found in one of the scenes of the final season. Additionally, people are going crazy over how they could not see clearly nor enjoy one of the battle scenes in an episode of the final season because of the lack of lighting in the scene. The scene was accordingly too dark for viewers to try to make sense of what was going on in the show.

Harrington is quite defiant, amidst the amount of hate the Game of Thrones series' final season is getting, Saying that he could not care less about those people who are typing on their computers right now, expressing how much they detest the final season.

He refuses to accept or condone these negative comments because he knows how much work everybody on the set has put into it---from the costume designers to the production team and directors, down to the actors.

The 32-year-old then explains that he does not mean to sound rude or proud with his unwillingness to accept criticism from fans. But he says he cares too much about the amount of work put into this show and will just endure the backlash online from people who are relentlessly dragging the show's final season.

He adds that he does not mean to come off as someone unsympathetic towards the fans comments, albeit negative, on the show. If anything, he is thankful for knowing that the show has a loyal fan base who take the story and the characters to heart. However, he will not condone the undermining of the hard work put into the making of the whole season.

Die-hard fans have not held back their criticism and distaste for the show's ending. Millions have even joined in on a petition on Change.org that pleads for HBO to do a reshoot of the whole season 8.
