Scarlett Johansson is noticeably giddy after her boyfriend, Colin Jost, proposed to her last weekend.
The Avengers: Endgame actress has been dating the Saturday Night Live creative writer for about two years now. Johansson, 34, and Jost, 36, are reveling in the bliss of their engagement.
Johansson was said to be genuinely shocked that her boyfriend had proposed to her. However, she looks forward to walking down the aisle with him and for now, is incredibly happy and excited about being engaged to Jost.
She shares that things are good and natural with Jost and that it feels right being with him. She adds that he feels like home to her and wonders at how it seems as though she has ended up with the person who is really meant for her. She also says she is really looking forward to her future with him.

To top it all off, Jost seems to get along well with the actress' daughter, Rose. The Manhattan native declares that her daughter is her top priority and that she has already considered how this engagement could possibly affect her in all ways.
She says that she would not have gone along with it if she knew it would be of any harm or inconvenience to her daughter. Insiders also claim that Rose is just as happy to welcome and accept Jost as her step dad.
Moreover, close friends of Johansson's mention that the talk of having babies has been going on between the couple. But they are in no rush to get there. For now, they are enjoying their engagement and will soon be planning for their big day.
However, Johansson herself mentions that she is open to the thought of having more kids soon and has previously stated that being a mom is the best role she has ever had to play.

Jost's attempt to surprise Johansson with his proposal was apparently a success, since she was genuinely shocked when he got down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage.
It was not long after that Johansson's publicist confirmed their engagement. However, a wedding date is yet to be set by the couple.
