People were in for a major surprise when they tuned in to HBO to watch the series finale of Game of Thrones last Sunday. Before the premiere of the fantasy show's last episode, the network decided to drop the stunning first trailer for Westworld Season 3. Not surprisingly, there are already several new theories about Aaron Paul's character and his connection to Dolores Abernathy.
The first Westworld Season 3 trailer focused on Aaron Paul's character as he goes about his life in the real world. Interestingly, the world of the future has some truly advanced technology but still maintains the darker side of society. Although the character appears to have a blue-collar job, he is also shown pulling off a heist with Lena Waithe's character.
Paul's mysterious character might be the main star of the trailer, but that doesn't mean that there are no familiar faces. At one point, there is a shot of a woman shooting two people and another scene where the same woman appears to be dragging a body behind her. It isn't until the end of the teaser where Paul's character approaches the wounded woman that it is revealed to be Dolores.
There are speculations that much of the Westworld Season 3 trailer is from the first episode where Dolores encounters Paul's character. Additionally, some fans have theorized that Dolores might team up with Paul so she can fulfill her mission.
The series has yet to reveal any information about Paul's character in Westworld III. The character's name has not even been announced yet, but the trailer somehow confirms that he is a criminal of sorts. Some believe that he might be a thief who could prove to be useful for Dolores as she explores the real world.
But what exactly is Dolores' true mission in Westworld Season 3? It may have something to do with making sure her fellow hosts escape the parks in the upcoming season. It has already been confirmed that Dolores has five pearls which are some of the hosts. In addition to that, she could be looking for Charlotte Hale, who has something hidden in her body.
The Westworld Season 3 premiere date has not yet been announced. Nevertheless, there is a huge possibility that it will fill the summer timeslot left behind by Game of Thrones. Hopefully, this means that the new season will air by April 2020.
