Kourtney Kardashian says the civil friendship that she has with her ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick and his girlfriend, Sofia Richie, is one of the things she is most proud of.
Upon being asked about the unusual dynamic the three adults had going on, the reality star told reporters how the cordial relationship between herself, Disick and Richie is something she feels most accomplished about, as well as the co-parenting strategy that exists between her and her ex.
Kardashian and Disick share three children, Mason, nine years old, Penelope, six years, and Reign, 4. They ended their romantic relationship in 2017, after being together on and off for nine years. And about that time, Disick had confessed to struggling with sex addiction problems.
Moreover, it was in that year that rumors about a new mystery girl of Disick's had hit tabloids. It was later on revealed that the new girl was Richie who at the time had been barely of age. Disick and Richie have been together ever since the summer of 2017.
Kardashian admits she loves it when the couple invites her to tag along on their vacations alongside their children. They have all vacationed together to places like Hawaii, Mexico, and Aspen.
However, Kardashian says she will not always be going on the trips, even though they continue to invite her. She says she wants to respect Disick and Richie's relationship and knows fully that this means she should not crowd the couple too much.
But, Disick says the reason they always think to invite the 40-year-old is that he still wants his kids to experience these trips as a family. He goes on to say that he does not want his kids to miss out on anything in life just because they could not figure out how to act around each other and have a dynamic on their co-parenting duties.
Normally, a girlfriend of a man who spends a lot of time with his ex because their children would get jealous and even bitter. However, Richie seems to be the total opposite of that. She is completely supportive of Disick's role as a father and co-parent.
She even encourages him to spend more time with his children. It is shocking how cool she is about the whole situation. But Disick addresses people on their queries about the matter and repeats what his girlfriend always tells him.
Richie understands completely what she got herself into when she was first involved with Disick, and she will be supportive of him as he tries to maintain a good relationship with his family and the KarJenner clan. All she asks is that he talk to her and make her comfortable.
