Fans are waiting for two things after Supernatural Season 14 ended. The first one is the end of the Winchester brothers' story in Season 15, the show's last and final installment, and the second one is the release of Season 14's DVD and Blu-ray.
Fans who have been collecting the show's entire seasons and others who want to re-watch all the episodes are now on the lookout for Supernatural Season 14 DVD and Blu-ray. Although the show is about to hit Netflix in the US, other international viewers have to wait for the disc's release. So, when will it finally happen?
According to SPN Hunters, fans can start to preorder Supernatural Season 14 DVD and Blu-Ray on Amazon for $37.99 and $39.99, respectively. However, the e-commerce company is yet to reveal when the disc will be released, so it will only be shipped to the buyers as soon as it is officially out. Buyers will receive an update through email about the release once it has been revealed.
As Season 11, 12, and 13's DVDs were all released in September, it might be safe to assume Supernatural Season 14 DVD and Blu-ray would be out in the same month this year. If it happens, it could be out on September 3. Hence, fans could have a month to re-watch the entire series before the final season hits the small screen in October on The CW.
Talking about Season 15, Supernatural Season 14 ended with the Winchesters getting "toe-to-toe" with God. God decided the story is over, welcoming them to the end as the series is about to reach its final season. However, there are questions about what God means?
In Supernatural Season 14's digital feature, titled The Winchester Mythology: The Choices We Make, showrunner Andrew Dabb revealed God was serious when he said it was "the end of this story." "By the end of this story, it means the end of the world," he said, per Entertainment Weekly.
Fans have to see how Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) would deal with God's warning in Supernatural Season 15. "I think those are the big things that we're going to explore going into season 15," Dabb hinted.
Ackles, on the other hand, added all of the years they spent fighting would come knocking them down in the new season. "It's going to be an all-out free-for-all," he said. He even teased Supernatural Season 15 could be the best season of the show.
