The premiere of Wentworth Season 7 is almost here, and the highly anticipated first episode could open on a high note. The title for Episode 1 has been revealed to be 'Blood Wedding,' which confirms a brief scene in the trailer where someone is walking down the aisle. Unfortunately, it also teases on yet another major character possibly biting the dust.
There is little doubt that the conflict between Rita Connors (Leah Purcell) and Marie Winter (Susie Porter) will continue in Wentworth Season 7. The trailer for the upcoming season already shows the two characters dealing with a lot of things, but there are some awesome glimpses at lighter moments. For instance, someone might be getting married in Episode 1. On the other hand, the event could be a fatal one for at least one inmate.
It's quite obvious that the seventh season will open with someone tying the knot. In the trailer, someone is slowly walking down the aisle while their fellow inmates cheer on. It also looks like Deputy Governor Vera Bennett (Kate Atkinson) will be presiding over the ceremony as she stands at the end of the hall.
But is it possible that it's Vera herself who is getting married in Wentworth Season 7? Some believe she may have changed her mind about not wanting Jake Stewart (Bernard Curry) to have anything to do with their child. After all, the two have been through so much together in the previous season. However, it's highly unlikely that Vera will want to get tied down any time soon.
Although we have yet to learn who will get married, there are already several speculations about what could happen during the joyous event. There is a huge possibility that someone will take advantage of the distraction to take an enemy out. After all, it's called 'Blood Wedding,' and all hopes for a happy ending are now gone.
Who will bite the dust in Wentworth Season 7 Episode 1? Fans are already worried about Liz, who is struggling with dementia. Additionally, Rita now has the problem of Ruby possibly revealing her secret since Ruby will no longer be transferred. Will Rita need to take action before the truth is revealed? Is it possible that Marie will discover her secret in the premiere? Everything will finally be confirmed this Tuesday.
Wentworth Season 7 Episode 1 will finally air on Foxtel on May 28.
