The Nail Artisans of Manatee County is back, and they are about to open Claws Season 3 Episode 1 with a big bang with their new business. The new enemies Mac (Michael Horse) and Melba (Rebecca Creskoff) will be the main focus of "Just the Tip" as Desna (Niecy Nash), and the rest of her salon pals will do their best to get ahead.
"In the wake of Virginia being shot, the crew must regroup to face their off-kiltered new adversaries, Mac and Melba Lovestone," Claws Season 3 Episode 1 official synopsis read. "So, they can run Bayside Rapture Casino like the bosses they are."
According to CarterMatt, Melba is a Sarasota native who used to be a child model for catalog and print campaigns across the southeast. From here, she transitioned into beauty pageants to a meteorologist on local news channels until she became a journalist.
She then met Mac, who was in a battle against cocaine addiction at the time. They got married, and Melba became the icon of the "Sarasota mover and shaker."
Mac, on the other hand, was said to be an "affable, always in style dressed in suits," a dashing Native American who is known in the world of glamorous Florida gaming, and a man with many secrets. Mac and Melba are known as the pillars of Sarasota business community with their casino business and Bayside Rapture, affiliated with the murky Tuptee Tribe of central Florida.
From the looks of it, the newcomers Mac and Melba will do everything to face Desna as she gets involved in the world of the casino business in Claws Season 3 Episode 1. As the three find their way to the business empire, they will find themselves immersed in a crazy universe that will bring a lot of drama to their lives.
Meanwhile, Claws Season 3 Episode 1 official trailer didn't give much about the return of the Nail Artisans of Manatee County salon, aside from their candy-coated and animal-printed clothing. Of course, they will be once again up to some "Floridian extortion," which makes fans excited, per Deadline.
The show features the return of Niecy Nash, Carrie Preston, Judy Reyes, Karrueche Tran, Jenn Lyon, Jack Kesy, Kevin Rankin, Jason Antoon, Evan Daigle, Suleka Mathew, Harold Perrineau, and Dean Norris. Claws Season 3 Episode 1, "Just the Tip," will be out on Sunday, June 9, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TNT.
