After former SISTAR member Hyolin's agency Bridge Entertainment responded to bullying charges lodged by a former classmate online, it seems as if the problem has not been resolved after the DM messages between HyoLyn and her accuser became public. It seems that instead of reconciliation, HyoLyn has threatened legal action against her former classmate amid the negative social maelstrom that her accusations have roused.
It can be recalled that several days ago, a netizen who identified herself only as "A" accused the Kpop idol of bullying her relentlessly for three years during their high school years. The accuser shared photos of her signed yearbook copy to prove that she was indeed in the same class as former SISTAR member HyoLyn.
In her post, netizen "A" shared that HyoLyn would regularly steal her clothes and money and would constantly attack her on the apartment playground. The netizen said that the reason for her torment was mere because both of their boyfriends had the same name.
According to a report by All Kpop, the accuser also took a screenshot of her direct message to the ex-SISTAR member several years back asking for an apology for her actions in the past, but the HyoLyn never responded to her. When the Jannabi bullying controversy broke out, she went online to post her allegations and recounted her experiences in the years after her bullying.
Based on the post by "A" she was traumatized by HyoLyn's bullying and was tormented continuously when she constantly saw the Kpop singer doing well in her career and enjoying a good and clean image to the public. She said it felt unfair that the bully id is doing well while the victim is left with no choice but to see her career grow.
Meanwhile, a fresh report indicated that despite Bridge Entertainment's claims that the matter has been settled, the issue is far from closed after SBS released what was alleged to be screenshots of A's DMs with HyoLyn.
In the exchange, HyoLyn allegedly responded to a direct message from her accuser and asked her to give her contact details so that they could meet personally. A said that if she receives an apology, she will voluntarily take down all of her posts against the former SISTAR singer, but after she provides her details, there were no further responses from the Kpop artist.
A continued to message her and claimed that she was insincere in her move to reconcile because after she provided her contact details, she found out that her IP address has been blocked, and that HyoLyn told her that she was going to take legal actions against her accuser.
Netizens who were reacting to the news, have criticized HyoLyn for being sly in her dealings with A and said that the truth would eventually come out.
