With news of EXID's Hani and Junghwa leaving their agency Banana Culture, their fandom LEGGO has been feeling quite uneasy over the future of their idols. With two personally written letters, Hani and Junghwa shared their feelings and plans as they depart from the label that they have worked with for the past seven years.

According to a report by All Kpop, the two EXID members have written to their fans as a way to assure them of the solidarity of the five-member group even though Hani and Junghwa opted not to renew their contracts with their agency Banana Culture. It was reported that after promotions for their latest album We, Hani and Junghwa would be free to work on their careers apart from EXID.

While the group is set to take a hiatus, Banana Culture is said to be keeping on the group EXID although it is unsure whether the three remaining members will carry on or if additional members will be introduced to replace departing members Hani and Junghwa. It is also possible that the remaining members will also be encouraged to do solo activities like other K-pop idol groups.

In Hani's letter, she thanked their fandom LEGGO for the years of support and encouragement and credited them for giving her the gift of a new world that she could not have imagined. She assured fans that the members continue to remain united in their love for their fandom despite her and Junghwa's decision to leave the agency.

Hani also expressed that the path that she will take is uncertain since she has not yet planned out what she wants to do after leaving the agency yet. She said that she would take a brief break to reflect on her next move and thanked the fans once again for understanding her decision to leave EXID for the meantime.

Junghwa, in her letter, expressed similar sentiments to their EXID fandom LEGGO. In her message, she thanked her fellow members for seven years of laughter and tears and said that everything became possible because they did things together. She shared the hope that all five members will find a way to stand together as EXID again in the future.

Junghwa also said that she would be pursuing a dream that she has had since she was nine years old and she is excited to start her new journey and hopes that their long-time fans will wish her well.
