Strictly Come Dancing 2019 will once again dominate the small screens, but who will be its celebrity contestants? There are a lot of rumors on who will grace the ballroom stage and win the Glitterball Trophy, and one of them is Steph McGovern.

In her appearance on The One Show, the BBC Breakfast host McGovern seemed to let slip if she would be a part of Strictly Come Dancing 2019 lineup. Before joining the hosts Angela Scanlon and Ryan Clark-Neal, they revealed a photo of their guest wearing an Irish dancing costume when she was younger, per Express.co.uk.

While talking about McGovern's dancing past, Clark-Neal suddenly asked the 37-year-old journalist why she had never grace Strictly Come Dancing 2019 with all the talents she had. Scanlon, on the other hand, teased they would love to see their fellow television presenter on the show.

McGovern later explained she is very competitive and wanted to be brilliant because she already did dancing. Talking about how she entered the show, she said the way she came on was a "right mess."

Noticing McGovern had a poker face, Clark-Neal believed she was hiding something, and she might be included on the new Strictly Come Dancing 2019 lineup. "I think she has a poker face on, she knows something we don't!" he said.

McGovern neither denied nor confirmed she would be joining Strictly Come Dancing 2019 lineup. So, she, along with Clark-Neal and Scanlon continued The One Show.

Details about Strictly Come Dancing 2019 remain scarce, as BBC has yet to announce who will be the pro dancers that will be in the show. However, according to Radio Times, Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli, and Shirley Ballas are all expected to be back to reprise their roles as the panel of judges.

Unfortunately, fans will not see Darcey Bussell seating with the three. The 50-year-old ballerina earlier revealed she would be leaving the series after seven years of being a judge, clearing her decision was neither because she's upset nor had a disagreement with anyone.

"I am just stepping away to give more focus to my many other commitments in dance," she said. "I hope that I may be very lucky to be asked back again one day."

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are also expected to return as the show's hosts. BBC has yet to reveal when Strictly Come Dancing 2019 will be officially out, but it may be set for release in September.
