X-Men: Dark Phoenix has become one of the most awaited films of 2019 next to Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel. And while everyone thought that it would arrive earlier this year, the new X-Men film has been pushed back on a much later date.
As you may know, X-Men: Dark Phoenix was already set to arrive in November of 2018. But due to unknown reasons, the new mutant film has been pushed back once more. And instead of making it to the theater houses before 2019 enters, it has been scheduled to arrive in February of this year.
But then again, the official trailer was just dropped not long after January entered. And because of this, the new X-Men film was set once more on an even much later date which is now half-a-year late.
Of course, these schedule movements caused a lot of confusion to the fans. Many have lost hope whether the film will still arrive or not. So when the premiere date has been already revealed, it calmed the whole fandom down.
As of the time being, there are now two promotional materials that have been publicly shared. And just by basing alone on the trailers, these things indirectly hinted that someone would die at the end of the show. But as to who this person or these persons will be, X-Men: Dark Phoenix will certainly reveal them all once it arrives.
It is worth noting that the upcoming Dark Phoenix film is a huge adaptation to the original X-Men Dark Phoenix saga. But since Marvel has done something similar previously through its infamous X-Men: The Last Stand, it is no wonder why the fans are speculating that the upcoming film might follow the same pattern. And using pattern, this could mean that X-Men: Dark Phoenix will already be the last film of the saga.
Even so, these are just mere speculations made by the fans. But when considering the fact that Disney is already in the process of buying 20th Century Fox, the studio that owns the X-Men franchise, it will be quite appropriate if the whole saga wraps things up with upcoming X-Men film.
X-Men: Dark Apocalypse is finally coming soon. And it is officially announced that the film will arrive in theaters on June 7.
