Krypton Season 2 is about to hit the small screens this month, so Syfy is now putting the show on hype. The network has been releasing character posters, featurette, and other images, teasing new and returning characters.

Syfy released three monochromatic posters, featuring Krypton Season 2's main female characters. Here, Nyssa (Wallis Day), Lyta (Georgina Campbell), and Jayna (Ann Ogbomo) can be seen on their posters, teasing their badass characters.

The network also unveiled a new featurette showing Brainiac's (Blake Ritson) influence on Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe). The two will depend on each other in the new season to survive the Phantom Zone.

One of the new faces coming to Krypton Season 2 is the Guardians of the Galaxy alum Emmett J. Scanlan. He will play the role of Lobo, the ruthless bounty hunter that killed all of his species. He also holds a genius level of intellect when it comes to warfare that makes him a crucial enemy, per IGN.

The new season will also feature a changed of Kandor as it will be in the middle of a battle to fight for its future and freedom. General Dru-Zod (Colin Salmon) will be now in control. He wants to rebuild Krypton using his cruel ideas and conquer the universe to secure its future.

Seg-El will try his best to unite the group of resisters to bring down Zod and restore Krypton according to their ideals. However, their liberation is at risk due to their "opposing tactics, shifting alliances and conflicting moral boundaries." Hence, they will be forced to work individually and see how far they are willing to take to fight for their future in Krypton Season 2.

The show is set two generations before Krypton gets destructed. It follows the story of Superman's grandfather, Seg-El. His House of El is hated and shamed. So, he fights back to redeem his family's honor and save the world from chaos.

Zod, Brainiac, Doomsday, and Lobo are now getting closer to bring chaos to Segl-El's life and home. So in Krypton Season 2, fans are about to see him fight back to get back what is his.

Krypton Season 2 will be out on Friday, June 12, on Syfy, with another set of 10 episodes. Viewers who haven't watched or want to re-watch the previous season can catch up at Syfy on demand, which includes Syfy.com and Syfy app.
