The end is about to come on Chernobyl Episode 5. HBO dropped "Vichnaya Pamyat" official trailer, and it teased intense turn of events as Valery Legasov (Jared Harris), Boris Shcherbina (Stellan Skarsgård), and Ulana Khomyuk (Emily Watson) risk their lives to reveal the truth.

"Valery, Boris, and Ulana risk their lives and reputations to expose the truth about Chernobyl," Chernobyl Episode 5 official synopsis read. Titled "Vichnaya Pamyat," it is Ukranian words that mean "Eternal Memory," per Entertainment.ie.

"Vichnaya Pamyat" is said to be the phrase uttered in funerals. It is comparative to the phrase "Rest in Peace" in English. However, "Eternal Memory" can also mean something else. It may be about Chernobyl's impact on the world that no one can forget.

In the trailer, there will be an inquiry about what happened in Chernobyl and who is responsible behind it. Ulana, a scientist from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, has been working to know the truth behind the reactor's explosion, and the result of her investigation will be the main focus of Chernobyl Episode 5.

Fans already know what will be Valery's fate as he took his own life in the premiere episode. From the looks of it, the season finale will reveal how intense the political implication of the man-made accident that affects not just the three lead characters but the whole Pripyat.

The show's creator Craig Mazin teased fans are about to see what happened on that fateful night of April 26, 1986, on Chernobyl Episode 5. "For everyone watching #ChernobylHBO, the hard part's over. No more guns. No more death. Next week, you'll see what happened on that fateful night," he said on a tweet. "You will see how an RBMK reactor explodes. And a kind of justice will be done. Thank you for taking this journey with us."

Meanwhile, Chernobyl Episode 5 is set to be out on June 3, Monday, at 9 p.m. on HBO. Fans who are not in the U.S. can still watch the show online using a VPN, Tech Radar reported.
