A lot of twist and turn of events are about to happen in Queen of the South Season 4. Teresa (Alice Braga), Pote (Hemky Madera), and King George (Ryan O'Nan) will continuously build an empire despite Guero's (Jon-Michael Ecker) death, James (Peter Gadiot) departure, and Camila (Veronica Falcón) still on the run.

Queen of the South Season 4 is now extending its business in New Orleans. Fans can expect to witness a lot of drama, opportunities, and of course, gators in the future episodes.

In Episode 1, "Bienvenidos a Nueva Orleans," Teresa starts to expand her business and proves herself to a smuggler who offers her a business opportunity. However, in Episode 2, "Un Asunto de Familia," her deal with this smuggler will go wrong after a local kingpin discovers she is smuggling cocaine.

In an interview with Braga, the 36-year-old star talked about Teresa's future and what might happen in Queen of the South Season 4. Teresa's romantic life went dramatically devastating after Guero's death and James' departure. However, she teased her character would find a new romance this season.

"I think the first trailer (for Season 4) shows a bit of someone who may come into her life," Braga told TV Fanatic. The Brazilian actress tried not to slip anything, but she hinted the teaser held the answer to who could be his new guy.

Talking about Queen of the South Season 4's new villain, Braga teased Camila is still out there, and a big threat for her. But, there will be new characters coming that may replace Camila after she gets weakened in the previous season. "It's really hard for her to get back on track," she added.

Teresa now handles the business, which is used to be held by men and Camila. Now it is a big question of how Braga's character will manage to deal with the people surrounding her new world, especially that she always seems in danger.

Braga described Teresa as a "very smart" woman. The same thing is also said about the character in Arturo Pérez-Reverte's novel, on which the show is based, which has the same title. She is good in numbers, observes more, talks less, can analyze a situation, and thinks fast.

So, it may not be a problem for her to run the business in Queen of the South Season 4. Braga continued to say Teresa's qualities are the ones needed for someone to handle a violent and illegal business like hers.

Queen of the South Season 4 premieres on Thursday, June 6, on USA Network. Episode 2, Un Asunto de Familia, on the other hand, will be out on June 13.
