Although the Valley kids have already proved that their team can win the big lifeguard competition and earn their tower for the summer, there are still hindrances and enemies along the way. But as usual, on season 2, the challenges are planned by their enemies as they bravely hold their spot on the Malibu Junior Rescue.

Malibu Rescue was created exclusively for Netflix by Savage Steve Holland, the founder of Savage Studios Ltd. and is also directing shows for Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Together with Holland, the film-turned-TV series was also developed and written by Jed Elinoff along with Scott McAboy, Molly Haldeman, Thomas Scott, Camilla Rubis, and Jim Martin. Malibu Rescue got a considerable amount of audience and an unpredictable plot for the brave Valley kids.

The Malibu Junior Rescue team has a lot to offer as they continue to protect the beach and its attendees from any danger. Previously, Tyler, Dylan, Lizzie, Eric, and Gina was able to stop the bomb that Thornton planted on one of the towers. If the Valley kids failed to search for it, it would be blamed to them and eventually would kick them out of the program.

While waiting for the official announcement for next season, these young, spirited teens are set to make summer exciting and fun. Starting with School of Rock star, Ricardo Hurtado as Tyler Gossard, the troublemaker and sent to the Malibu Rescue program by his stepfather to teach him a very valuable lesson of friendship and unity.

A School of Rock alum once again, Brianna Yde plays Gina, the tough and determined one, ready to help her team go through every obstacle. Criminal Minds star Jackie R. Jacobson as Dylan becomes the caption of the Flounders and sees to it that the Valley kids would get the tower on the beach.

Also, a star in Just Add Magic, Abby Donnelly as Lizzie is the nicest of them all which also leads the team into trouble. And Alkoya Brunson as Eric, who also appeared in Me, Myself & I, becomes the clown of the group and likes Lizzie a lot.

Other stars that may reprise their role on the next season include Curtis Armstrong as Mr. Rathbone, JT Neal as Brody, Jeremy Howard as Vooch and Ian Ziering as Gavin Cross since Thornton Pavey played by Zahf Paroo failed to accomplish his evil plans.
