Queen Of The South season 4 episode 2 is almost here, and it would feature Teresa and her deal, which might be in trouble. Her new empire will encounter some trouble, so things would not be stable from here. Here's what to expect in the upcoming episode, titled "Un Asunto de Familia."
Based on the synopsis of Queen Of The South season 4 episode 2, Teresa had a deal with a smuggler, but it might be in trouble as a kingpin found out she's smuggling cocaine. So, viewers can expect a lot of happenings in this episode, like seeing peace turning into dust since there could be some chaos that would arise here.
What will happen when the deal falls apart? Fans will have the chance to see Teresa finding herself being in a tricky situation, as where she is right now is very crucial on the hierarchy. Although she is more in charge now and she has managed to pick herself up, that does not necessarily mean she's already free from trouble.
Meanwhile, Queen Of The South season 4 episode 2 would also bring a sense of nostalgia. In a recently released preview, Brenda (played by Justina Machado) returns - she is the former best friend of Teresa who died at the end of the first season. Her death was the reason why Teresa changed and why she's more adrift.
The upcoming episode is nostalgic as it would show some flashbacks, and one of which sees Brenda's baby shower and she rattled off a list of demands, while at the same time Teresa is laughing like she doesn't care what's happening around her. The sneak peek is lighter compared to what happened from last week's premiere.
Executive producer Dailyn Rodriguez told Entertainment Weekly about Machado's return in the series, noting it was nice to have her back. She added that the actress is talented and brings joy on the set, and her character brings "levity" to Queen Of The South, especially since her relationship with Teresa is a special one.
Rodriguez also teased the character will have some scenes this season, so viewers will see her appear at some point in future episodes. So, her appearance will likely have a large purpose in Teresa's life, especially now that she's starting her rule in New Orleans.
Queen Of The South season 4 episode 2 will air on Thursday, June 13, on USA Network.
