Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith are continuously teasing what is about to come in Rick and Morty Season 4. A new trailer about Trover Saves the Universe has been released, and the two couldn't help but talk about the series. As the show is about to come, it may tie the previous season's loose ends, including the story of Beth Smith.
Beth is Rick's daughter and one of the series' major characters. A lot of episodes have delved into the life of Morty's mother and there are also mysteries involved.
According to Econo Times, Rick and Morty Season 4 will feature more of Beth's character, as revealed by the voice actress herself Sarah Chalke. The 24-year-old star said she has worked for a lot of new episodes involving the matriarch, which gives birth to a lot of theories.
Beth's storyline in Rick and Morty Season 4 may finally explore her clone version made by Rick. However, the new season may also pick up other plotlines that she has with the many stories that can be tackled about her.
Season 2 established "The Mystery of Beth," which was seen on the episode "The ABC's of Beth." Here, Beth asked Rick to create a clone of her, so she could travel to the universe. The fake Beth would be with her family, while the real one would explore the cosmos.
However, the episode ended with a confusing conclusion when Morty, Summer, and Jerry asked Rick about the real Beth's identity, and he just smiled. So in Rick and Morty Season 4, the genius scientist might finally reveal what really happened to Beth.
The new season could also explore other plot holes that the previous seasons left, like the Evil Morty. But, it might focus on Beth this time, being Rick's daughter and one of the main characters.
Meanwhile, Rick and Morty tried to shill Roiland's VR-optional video game Trover Saves the Universe in a new video, per Inverse. However, the fan-favorite duo couldn't help but tease Rick and Morty Season 4 instead.
"Man, it's gonna be a while 'till Season 4, ya know?" Morty said. "Yeah, four months," Rick answered. Isn't it earlier from the release date they previously announced?
On a May 15 announcement, Rich and Morty revealed, also in a video, that Rick and Morty Season 4 would be out in November. However, as the two newly teased that it would be a four-month wait starting this June; it could be out in October. So, fans should brave themselves as they might see the grandfather-and-grandchild duo earlier than expected.
