Block B's U-Kwon was very open about his relationship with his girlfriend Jeon Sun Hye for the past eight years, and he is not going to stop being open about his plans to get married to his long time love. The Block B member announced that he has plans to marry his girlfriend before he enlists next year or after he completes his mandatory service to the military.

In a report by All Kpop, U-Kwon opened up about being in a relationship with his girlfriend for eight years and why he decided to come out about their dating during the early days of their relationship. According to the Block B member, he wanted to be honest with fans because they asked the members to tell them when they date, and he believed in their words.

Block B U-Kwon said that at the time he first admitted to dating Jeon Sun Hye, he was only 21 so he was still trying to figure a lot of things out. He said that he was not sorry for being open about their relationship, but he did feel bad when he caught fellow members off guard and they got mad at him for it.

Block B U-Kwon recalled that Park Kyung confronted him about his admission then and told him that he should have discussed the news with the other members before blurting it out in a broadcast. The agency was also stunned by the news so at first, they were unsure of what to do. After the matter was discussed, they allowed him to date his girlfriend freely.

In an interview, U-Kwon said that marriage talks were already on the table as they were planning to tie the knot before he enlists at the age of 30. However, with the rules being changed recently, it seems like the Block B member will have to enlist earlier than expected and will have to undergo military training as early as next year.

U-Kwon said that with the tight schedule, he and  Jeon Sun Hye are mulling whether it would be better to postpone the wedding until after her mandatory service or push through with the nuptials before enlistment.

Block B U-Kwon assured that no matter what the date, he is sure that he wants to marry his girlfriend of eight years. In his heartfelt message, he said: "I think I have a lot of things to be sorry for the past eight years until now. I think I'm going to feel apologetic once again because of the military issues. Trust me and watch me because I'll do my best, so that we'll stick together. Sun Hye, I love you."
