Read at your own risk: This article contains spoilers for Grey's Anatomy Season 15.
Fans can no longer wait for Meredith Grey's future. Along with Alex and Richard, who happens to be some of the best doctors at Grey Sloan, nobody knows yet for sure what will happen next. In fact, even the series creator, Krista Vernoff, shared with TV Line recently that no one knows yet what's next in line. Even so, she admitted that they definitely "blew" things up for Grey's Anatomy Season 15.
As any avid fan would recall, Bailey fired Meredith, Alex, and Richard after acknowledging the insurance fraud that they committed. But even if this actually saved the life of the patient, Bailey decided to not let it pass and make them suffer for the consequences of their actions.
This apparently surprised a lot of people. As it happens, this has never been done in the course of Grey's Anatomy. And while this plot is a "wink" to its second season's LVAD wire situation when Meredith was fired as an intern, the current events are much bolder and riskier.
As of the time being, the plot for Season 16 is still "up in the air" according to Narcity. This is why the majority of the fans are having a difficult time to speculate and theorize things for the plot of the new season.
It has been also revealed that no one is in the writer's room yet. And based on recent reports, preparations for Grey's Anatomy Season 16 might start after summer.
However, the show has been very faithful to its "fall premiere" as claimed by Cosmopolitan. And if they remain loyal to their schedule, then there is a huge chance that everyone in the writer's room and production are already bringing up their "A" games. Nevertheless, these are just mere speculations. But unless otherwise stated, these are the most viable details that could happen.
Aside from its premiere date and plot speculations, another thing that makes the fans so much more excited about the show's arrival is its hints that it will feature newer and more interesting things in its dynamic. And one of which is the foreshadowed crossover episodes between Grey's Anatomy and Station 19.
ABC Entertainment President, Karey Burke, revealed last month that the fans can actually expect for more crossover events. And she even contended that this could happen "every week." But of course, no one knows yet for sure.
Even so, it is quite safe to assume that a lot of changes will truly happen when Season 16 arrives. And this is only in consideration to all the details given at hand.
