There is no denying that Suzy Bae is considered as one of the most sought after South Korean stars of her generation. The 24-year-old Asian star was a member of the girl group called Miss A under the JYP Entertainment. The former ladylove of Lee Min Ho debuted as a solo artist in 2017, releasing an album titled Yes? Now?

The first acting project of Suzy Bae was the music teen drama series titled Dream High. The 2011 South Korean television series, which also starred, Kim Soo Hyun, Ham Eun Jung, IU, Taecyeon, and Jang Woo Young, was well-received by fans in its two-month run. The role of Lee Min Ho's ex-girlfriend helped her win the Best New Actress award and Best Couple award along with Kim Soo Hyun.

Aside from Dream High, Suzy Bae also appeared in other successful shows such as Invincible Youth 2, Architecture 101, Gu Family Book, Healing Camp, and The Sound of a Flower among others. In September 2017, the ex-girlfriend of Lee Min Ho returned to television, after a hiatus from the limelight, via the fantasy thriller drama titled While You Were Sleeping.

Recently, Suzy Bae got involved in a controversy after she and two other defendants wrongly dragging a photo studio in a YouTube star's sexual harassment claim. Yang Ye Won, who is the person behind the Beagle Couple channel, claimed that she had been beleaguered sexually and required into posing for stark-naked photos while working as a model in 2015.

Two other supposed victims stepped forward after the YouTube star's revelation went viral. They decided to file government petitions to punish Once Picture Studio. Suzy Bae did not think twice on showing her support and posted screenshots of the petitions on her official Instagram page. However, it was learned later that the petition mentioned the wrong studio.

The Once Picture Studio CEO, in June 2018, filed a complaint against Suzy Bae and the other two respondents for the blunder. The studio demanded the them to pay a total of 100 million won in cash for the damages in his business following the false allegations.

On Thursday, Seoul Southern District Court Judge Ban Hyo Rim ordered Suzy Bae and the two other defendants to pay 20 million won each to Once Picture Studio. However, the government refused to approve the 100 million-worth compensation claim of the studios' CEO, who stated that he was not able to run the business for a certain number of months due to the wrong allegations.
