The Game of Thrones Prequel is now taking shape after news emerges the show is currently filming in Belfast, Northern Island. Little is only known about the spinoff series, but one of its lead stars, Naomi Watts, breaks her silence and talks about the new HBO project.
In an interview with Associated Press Entertainment, via its Twitter page, Watts revealed her sentiments about being in the new Game of Thrones series. "It makes me very excited, yeah goosebumps all over," she said.
The 50-year-old star admitted it is intimidating to be in the Game of Thrones Prequel - especially the original series just ended. Almost everything today is related to the show, from news to advertisements, articles, and so on. As nearly everyone is jumping on the bandwagon, she also finds it scary to do the series.

Watts' feelings are quite understandable. As the spinoff series may be the next Game of Thrones, fans may have a high expectation from it. Despite the complaints about its final season, it cannot be denied that the show redefined television viewing.
It made history and broke records, so it couldn't help that there would be a comparison between the original series and the prequel. However, Watts also finds doing it "very exciting."
The King Kong star hopes fans will come along and find something new and exciting in the new world of the Game of Thrones. She also believes they will never be let down as HBO puts a great team of people together to work on it.
Watts' character is yet to be revealed. But, there are reports she will play the role of a charismatic socialite who is hiding a dark secret.
Business Times recently reported the Game of Thrones Prequel's production already started at an unrevealed location in Co Down and on the north coast. The staff and crew would also move to different sites of Belfast, including the Titanic Studios, to film. Earlier reports revealed the show's production would begin in the spring and would head in Belfast later in the year.
The prequel is said to be set thousands of years ago before the battle of the kings started. It will chronicle the history of the golden Age of Heroes up to its darkest hour. It is about to reveal the secrets of Westeros, the origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the east, and the Starks of legend.
