Blake Shelton recently celebrated his birthday, and of course, his girlfriend Gwen Stefani showered him with greetings and surprises. Even the former No Doubt front woman's kids, Kingston, 13, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 5, showed their love to their future stepdad. Now that everyone seems to approve their romance, is a wedding going to happen soon?

Gwen Stefani shared a series of Blake Shelton's throwback photos on Instagram. "Happy b day to my favorite human!!!" she captioned the snaps. "Can't believe your [sic] mine."

The 49-year-old star even claimed she is so lucky to have Blake Shelton in her life. She also added he is the most excellent guy she has ever known.

The photos feature a couple of his old snaps when his hair was still shoulder-length long, along with his recent solo pictures, their selfies together, and a video of a sea lion kissing the 43-year-old country singer. In another post on her Instagram story, Gwen Stefanie gave fans a glimpse of their celebration.

 
There were videos of them kissing, cheering, and laughing together. There was even a blue heart balloon with an "I love you Blakey love, Gwen" greeting. There were also a couple of same-looking balloons with Kingston and Apollo's dedication, but Zuma seemed to prefer calling him "big buddy."

From the looks of it, Blake Shelton has a close bond with Gwen Stefani's kids with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. The returning The Voice judge is even impressed with their closeness.

A source told Us Weekly Blake Shelton doesn't mind getting dirty with the boys. He loves playing and running with them. They even enjoy being together out on the land, either hiking or hunting.

Aside from her kids, Gwen Stefani's family also likes Blake Shelton - especially her dad. In another Instagram post, the "Hollaback Girl" hitmaker honored her dad on Father's Day by posting a photo of him while Shelton was kissing him on the cheek.

As everyone seems to approve their relationship, will they tie the knot soon? Another insider revealed in March that there would be no wedding until Gwen Stefani's marriage with Gavin Rossdale gets officially annulled by the Catholic Church.

The source explained religion is essential to Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton supports her for it. The mother-of-three has formally begun the process to annul their marriage, so they can get married that the church would recognize. Although it seems to be a long process, the couple is said to be "willing to wait."
