Big Brother Season 21 is about to begin as CBS gives a glimpse of the house's new look. The new season is about to begin new tasks fit for its latest theme that houseguests and fans alike will surely enjoy.
E! News gives the first look at the new bedrooms. The house's theme for this year is Camp BB, so its looks will all be related to camping.
In a tour the Big Brother Season 21 host Julien Chen Mooves gives, she shows each of the room has a different look. One looks like a vintage travel trailer that has a portable camping stove. It also features a giant trailer set piece that has its way to the second bedroom.
The second bedroom is the camp counselor's room that looks like a colorful cabin. It also has a pot-bellied stove, complete with souvenirs on the walls.
The third bedroom features the theme of archery. It is filled with bows and arrows with targets that look very dangerous. Its lounge, on the other hand, is transformed into a 12-foot wide rowboat, while the bathroom still carries its concept with paddles and other maritime items.
Talking about the challenges the housemates are about to take, CBS revealed Big Brother Season 21 would feature a "first of its kind twist." It would incite the contenders to rethink what would be their take to play the games.
With its camp theme, TV Guide reported the twist could be the rumored pairs conceit. The houseguests would have to compete in teams of two, just like how summer camps work with different groups within to have a playful rivalry to win.
"This challenge has one of the things we love to do in Big Brother, which is put our houseguests in complete darkness and play a game," executive producer Rich Meehan said, via TV Insider. There would be a challenge where they would be lost in the woods with no light to guide them.
The players would blindly find their way to return to the backyard to see the path that would lead them back to the house. But before that happens, they would have to face obstacles or end up in a decoy room with similar names like Camp Bee Bee and Camp Bee Gees.
Big Brother Season 21 will be out with a two-night premiere episode on Tuesday, June 25, and Wednesday, June 26, at 8/7c on CBS. It will house 16 new houseguests from a petroleum engineer to a Broadway dancer and more.
