It has been days already since Rihanna, and Seth Meyers have been teasing about their "Day Drinking" date. Of course, the fans of both personalities are quite excited to see what happened between the two. And to everyone's satisfaction, the segment video finally dropped a few hours ago.
The afternoon day drinking interview with the Work singer went overboard. It became "disastrous" and "funny," all at once. And quite amusingly, everyone enjoyed what Seth Meyers and Rihanna had to offer. Many reports claim that the video is now viral as their personalities jived well during the moment.
The two shared a great number of personal drinks which are named after several titles of the artist's songs. But what made these drinks unique and funny is the fact that these are mixed with different ingredients like chocolates, milk, and Twinkies.
Soon after sharing their "mixed" liquors, Rihanna and Seth Meyers played drinking games. A little after the jokes and fun games, the Fenty Beauty founder took Seth in a Fenty makeover session as per Celebrity Insider.
All in all, the drinking/interview session went very well for the two. But little did everyone know that this segment would have never happened if Seth Meyer did not cancel his late-night show the same day.
Seth shared with Variety that Rihanna was the one who chose the date. But the date that she gave has a scheduled late-night show. And this goes without saying that a "Day Drinking" interview is not entirely possible to happen not unless he would be asked to host while being a little tipsy.
So, according to him, he went on to the network and asked to cancel the scheduled late-night show. Gladly, NBC agreed, and the interview was confirmed.
He elaborated as well that this is very unlikely to happen as he never cancels his show. The only time that he did was when his wife gave birth to their first son. And during the birth of their second son, he revealed that he just went to work the next day as per E!.
Consequently, he went on joking that the order of his priorities goes: his first son, Rihanna, then comes next to the Umbrella singer is his second son.
Seth Meyer further shared that this "Day Drinking" interview segment with Rihanna is indeed a historic moment for him. Not to mention, he also wished that they had more time that day to continue the funny and witty moments.
