USA Network's hit crime drama series, Queen of the South Season 4, is not headed for its fourth episode. But while it's almost half of the course of the season, things are still pretty complicated for Teresa. Even so, there are already a few hints and clues as to how the plot of the fourth season will proceed.
In the latest episode of the show titled, Hospitalidad Sureña (Southern Hospitality), the viewers had witnessed the thrilling and heart-stopping moments when Teresa was kidnapped. But since Pote was able to break off from his chains and killed the man watching him, he was able to save Teresa in time.
This "catastrophic event," as per TV Fanatic, led them to learn who was the person behind the kidnapping. But Judge LaFayette also learned what went down and killed Boucher. Although this may seem a pretty satisfying twist for the judge, it turned out to be a much darker twist for his character.
After killing Boucher, he took his place and demanded the payment. He claimed to Teresa that New Orleans is his turf. So, the queen of the south made her terms with the judge.
Of course, this is just the beginning of their seeming frenemy relationship as the demands made by LaFayette were threats. So certainly, Teresa is about to plan a much bigger course for her new enemy in New Orleans. But as it happened, they learned what his weakness is. And it looks like they are going to exploit it in the following episodes of Queen of the South Season 4.
As for Javier and Boaz, it is quite hinted that they killed the judge's nephew. Although this is a plausible scenario, there are no further confirmations yet. One would consider this as a cliffhanger for the third episode.
What made this incident a much more viable twist is when the synopsis of the Queen of the South Season 4 Episode 4 was dropped. And based on Cartermatt, the upcoming episode that carries the title, La Maldición (The Curse), will feature a new problem that will come to Javier and Boaz.
Accordingly, it is possible that this "problem" of theirs will be related to what they've done in the last episode. As for Teresa, it has been hinted that she'll be in another trouble again. But this time it will be about a battle concerning turfs and territories.
Queen of the South Season 4 will return for its fourth episode on June 27, on USA Network.
