Netflix Original, Stranger Things Season 3, is about to arrive in the next few weeks. And following the recently released trailer for the new season, reactions and opinions are now circulating largely in the online world.

When Stranger Things first arrived on Netflix in 2016, it became wildly popular and successful. This is why there is no doubt that the show will be renewed for more installments. Not long after the conclusion of the pilot season, Netflix commissioned another installment from the production.

A year later, the second season of the hit sci-fi horror web series finally dropped on the streaming giant. But while it is still praised by many of its fans and viewers, the tone of the season felt a little different from what it used to offer.

According to Digital Trends, the "evolution" of Stranger Things has become very much apparent as the course of the story proceeds. And when the teaser trailers for the new season started to show up on everyone's screen last March, it seemingly appears that Season 3 will offer a much darker and "bloodier" course.

These receptions were further strengthened when the latest trailer dropped earlier this week. And based on the edited clips, it looks like that there will be a new villain in the vicinity. It has been hinted that the evil entity from the Upside Down has found its new host, Billy Hargrove.

Accordingly, many are now theorizing that he will be the big bad of the season. But of course, these are just speculations made based on the trailer. And as it appeared, there will be monster-like creatures who will come after the clique of Will and Eleven. So, it seemingly gives the notion that they will be staying in their world for the whole season.

The Verge perceives that this trailer shows almost the totality of what will happen in Stranger Things Season 3. But while this kind of tone and setting will still pretty much work in the reception of the fans, it somehow made the show a very different one in comparison to its predecessors.

They pretty much concluded that it will be a mixture of Jurassic Park and Ghostbusters. Even so, the trailer still adds up to the overall hype and thrill that the fans are currently experiencing for its arrival.

Stranger Things Season 3 is now set to arrive on July 4, on Netflix, with a total of eight episodes just like its previous seasons.
