It looks like there is a romance brewing between David (Lucas Neff) and Amanda (Georgia Flood) in American Princess. Everything will start in Episode 7, and a heavy pour may put their bond in another level.
"When the rain washes out the festival day, Amanda and David get to know each other better," American Princess Episode 7 official synopsis read. "Maggie (Seana Kofoed) revels in Amanda's failures; Brian (Rory O'Malley) wallows in his heartbreak; Delilah (Mary Hollis Inboden) holds on to a secret."
According to CarterMatt, American Princess Episode 7 will reveal the aftermath of the Renaissance Faire. The rain may turn the event miserable with all the mud, but it may be the chance for Amanda and David to know more about each other.
In an interview with MEA WorldWide, Neff talked about his character and the possible romantic relationship brewing between David and Amanda. The 33-year-old star described David as a guy who uses his "easygoingness" to avoid facing life problems. He is a Renaissance Faire performer and a mud beggar, so he is often naked and covered with mud.
Neff added he likes how the show captures his character. Although it looks silly for others, it seems very real for him. He likes David because it is different from other roles he has played in the past. He is more grounded; the writing is good, and working with Orange is the New Black executive producer Jenji Kohan makes him excited.
In American Princess Episode 7, the spark between David and Amanda continues. So, is it possible for the two to have a romance? "I think there are sparks between the two," he said.
David and Amanda both have issues to deal with. However, there are in very different places in their lives. As the season continues and they spend more time together, their bond may get very complicated but it, too, may get very steamy.
If he will be given a chance to write his character's storyline, Neff said David is someone who likes to be liked by everyone. However, he stays true to himself, regardless of whether people will like him or not.
So, Neff will never put much effort into his role to do what people think of him and embrace being an "open honest version" of himself. American Princess Episode 7, "The Tempest," will be out on Sunday, June 30, on Lifetime.
