Fitness model Ryu Se Bi is now in hot water for the drunken assault of two men outside a club in Gangnam, Seoul.

According to a report by Korea Times, Ryu Se Bi was arrested after she approached a man outside a club to demand a cigarette. It was unclear whether the surprised man refused before the fitness model proceeded to bite him on the neck and kick him in the shin.

Based on the report, there was another man who saw the assault and tried to stop the attack. However, intoxicated Ryu Se Bi also slapped the man for trying to interfere. Police will continue to investigate the incident to get to the bottom of the matter.

In a related development, it was reported that after Ryu Se Bi was taken to the Gangnam Police Station, a friend came to the police station to ask that she be released temporarily while the investigation was ongoing. It appeared that the fitness model was heavily intoxicated at the time of the arrest.

Latest information indicated that Ryu Se Bi is ready to settle with the victims and that they were all working to find the best resolution for all parties involved. Rye Se Bi is also expected to meet with the victims in person to talk with them and perhaps issue an apology.

Apart from being a fitness model, Ryu Se Bi also played small roles in dramas like Quiz From God in 2014 and Triangle, also in 2014. She originally gained fame as she participated in several international bodybuilding competitions, the most popular being Musclemania in Las Vegas last year.

The Korean entertainment industry is now under the microscope for different types of scandals involving celebrities. Ryu Se Bi's drunken assault case only adds fuel to the growing public censure against celebrities who act irresponsibly and get involved in shady dealings.

It can be recalled that early in the year, several high profile personalities were involved in the Burning Sun Gate, which is believed to be the largest and scandal involving the Korean entertainment industry involving embezzlement, prostitution, and violation of business laws, Soompi reported.

Most recently, the public eye was turned anew on the issue of celebrity drug scandals as an expose involving former iKON leader B.I and a purported drug dealer on Kakao Talk were released on Dispatch. While B.I was not charged for inquiring about drugs, shares of his former agency YG Entertainment quickly plummeted as the public called for a boycott of their artists.
