Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 5 will air later this week, and it will likely feature more of the mysterious black helicopter. In the previous episode, it was revealed the helicopter might be tied to Rick Grimes' disappearance in The Walking Dead season 9. Now, the latest episode will likely explore that matter, which also involves Althea.
At the end of episode 4, Alicia and company saw a helicopter, which is the one that snatched up Althea and possibly has a strong connection to Rick's departure on the main show. But, it might be another helicopter since the two shows were set on different states, so it needs a well-traveled helicopter for it to make it happen.
The bigger clue that the helicopter is related to Rick's disappearance is that it has a three-ring symbol, which also means it is connected to the group Jadis has been secretly working with. Some also speculated these helicopters are linked to some sort of organizations.
The helicopter seems to be well-maintained and someone operating it likely has a good sense of what he or she's doing. The sneak peeks of Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 5 didn't offer much, Althea was interrupted at gunpoint even before she could find out anything else.
The character has been through so much over the past weeks; she got snatched up, and now she's left with some unwelcoming people. It's very likely this group of unwelcoming people is also related to the group driving some of the kids to act the way they are.
They are controlling almost everything in the region, but one of the major questions is why they are doing that? Why they are dangerous, and are they hiding something?
The only thing Althea has to be thankful about right not is that she wasn't killed by the people on the helicopter. They possibly saw a larger purpose with her; perhaps, they believe her camera skill is useful. Maybe, they also think she's just a fine-might hostage for their huge mission to be executed.
Also, Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 5 will be all about Althea's pursuit. Based on the synopsis, she'll be chasing a story with a dodge determination. But then, she's also putting the mission, as well as her life on danger.
