"Cyberpunk 2077" will give players the freedom to a plethora of choices when creating their character. CD Projekt Red recently revealed that the options include a wide range of gender expressions. The juicy details came straight from the game's lead quest designer and from its lead quest director.

No Morality System

There is no morality system in "Cyberpunk 2077" according to its quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz. In his interview with Gaming Bolt, the quest director revealed that the game could be completed without killing anyone. But, Tomaszkiewicz clarified that regardless of your decisions in-game concerning morality, it has no bearing in the game.

Romance Options

Just recently, a Reddit user named magired1234 shared a DM convo with "Cyberpunk 2077" lead quest designer Pawel Sasko. The snippet reveals that players can expect to experience whole plotlines in the game that involve NPCs that could be romantically interested in the player's in-game character. The lead quest designer added that when it comes to scope and depth, the romance option could be the same as those found in "The Witcher 3."

In other words, "Cyberpunk 2077" has expanded romance options to accommodate this. CD Projekt Red also clarified that romancing is heavily present in the upcoming game and players will have the ability to forge meaningful relationships or go for one night stands. The game developer further noted that this will be observed in the game regardless of the sexuality or gender of the player's in-game character.

Unlike "The Witcher 3" the character in "Cyberpunk 2077" is no longer predefined, which allows it to feature romance options beyond the conventional heterosexual.

New Game Plus Mode

Another Reddit user named u/CaptainGJB shared a convo with "Cyberpunk 2077" lead game designer, Pawel Sasko. The conversation hinted that the upcoming title will have a new game plus mode and could be currently in the works. The Reddit user inquired Sasko if it is possible to have an in-game character with each stability or stat maxed out or if it will be similar to "The Witcher 3" where there is a limited upgrade slot.

The "Cyberpunk 2077" lead designer's answer is not outright but reading between the lines, one can safely assume that CD Projekt Red is developing a title that encourages multiple playthroughs with skills and stats carrying over in between playthroughs. When it was released, "The Witcher 3" has no Game Plus mode. However, it was rolled out to the game and activated items, experience, money, and even alchemy recipes to be carried over to a new playthrough.
