"Cyberpunk 2077" could be years away from its official release, however, game developer CD Projekt Red is not discreet to teasing fans with juicy details about the upcoming game. This week, key figures in the gaming studio shared some more insights about the much-awaited game, which reveals that "Cyberpunk 2077" could be bigger and better than "The Witcher 3."
Co-founder and CD Red Projekt CEO Adam Kicinski shared some insights about "Cyberpunk 2077." Since the hyped title is still in development, the CEO did not have a lot to share but he offered some interesting details. The juiciest that he was willing to share to the fans is that the scope of the upcoming title will far exceed what we have seen in "The Witcher 3."
While this is just a small revelation, it has a massive implication to the anticipating fans of both "Cyberpunk 2077" and "The Witcher 3." Geralt of Rivia's adventure offers dense and heavily populated maps with loads of quests and things to navigate that perfectly fit its theme. This means that fans will experience the biggest open world title with "Cyberpunk 2077."
In a separate interview, Senior Level Designer Miles Tost was asked to name an analog in modern games that equals "Cyberpunk 2077" in terms of world-building and level of details. Tost replied that it would be "The Witcher 3." The SLD revealed that CD Projekt Red has evolved when it comes to the approach used in developing the upcoming title.
This time, with "Cyberpunk 2077" the team is all about integrating freedom of gameplay into the previous recipe of how they made "The Witcher 3." Tost further revealed that the idea is to marry the open worlds and the story and integrate it into the parts of freedom of gameplay. As a result, players will not only have a non-linearity in the story but also in the gameplay.
This gives way to the fluid class system where stealthy playthroughs are allowed. This means that "Cyberpunk 2077" can be played without the need to kill a single person if the player so chooses. These statements from the key figures at CD Projekt Red only reveals that the upcoming title is going to be a lot better-rounded compared to "The Witcher 3."

"Cyberpunk 2077" is slated for a 2020 release. Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red recently shared a fifty-minute slice of gameplay to the press. All of these will be available in the future events of the game.
