The most recent episode of Black Ink Crew: Chicago Season 5 has shown its followers and viewers a pretty intense heat between the artists. At first, things went well for everyone. And considering how the Team Bonding episode went, it somehow gave Ryan the assurance that things will now start to fall in their right places.
However, the chaos started to spiral out when the latest episode titled, From Chi-ami to Ski-ami, aired on VH1. In fact, Cartermatt has mentioned not long ago that "Ryan's hard-won peace" at the shop would go sideways. And so it did when Charmaine and Lily confronted each other along with Neek.
As it happened, Lily "lashed out" on Neek in the middle of the night out that the crew had. Of course, Charmaine felt the need to get in between them as this was still all about the previous disputes that they had.
Lily claims that Neek was being disrespectful. And even if her pettiness would get the better of her, she would flaunt it as she believes that this is largely needed.
Quite amusingly, Charmaine felt so distressed and upset about what had happened that night. And so the day after, she went out to stay away from the "toxic" scenery. But upon her arrival back to the crew, she explained her side and how toxic her beef with Lily has become.
She reiterated that it is already affecting her relationship and worse, her mental health. And this is something that she should and would not tolerate any longer. Obviously, she wanted Lily out of the crew. But surprisingly, things went sideways as well for her.
In the near end of Black Ink Crew: Chicago Season 5 Episode 14, it appeared that as if the crew still went with Lily's side. And instead of putting Lily in her place out of the crew, it somehow came to Charmaine that as if she was told to just forget it.
Accordingly, she ultimately decided to leave 9Mag for good as things were already taking a toll on her. And in the end, she bid her goodbyes and flew back to Chicago.
The crew, along with the fans of Black Ink Crew: Chicago Season 5 went in all shock. But certainly, everyone will find their own paths as the show proceeds with its course.
Black Ink Crew: Chicago Season 5 is set to return on July 2 with an all-new episode.
