Sarah Ferguson is proud of what has become of her relationship with her two daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice despite not being able to maintain her marriage with Prince Andrew. However, the Duchess of York still managed to have a good co-parent relationship with the Duke and actually has a very unusual arrangement with him.

Looking back at the life and love of "Fergie," the former royal enjoyed her time outdoor event with the Queen. However, being apart most of the time with Prince Andrew made her realized how little in common she has with her husband.

As early as 1992, Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew expressed their desire to separate but it was only in 1996 that the divorce was finalized. Within those years in between, the former royal couple has each of their own activities and affairs, but they never remarried to anyone after that.

There were rumors of hidden cameras which spotted the Duchess of York in bikini-clad with another man while Prince Andrew himself dates celebrities and aristocrats alike. But one scandal almost rocked the British Royal Family and shattered the quiet lives of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie who are already on their young adult years.

Back in 2010, the Duchess of York was caught up in a sting operation where undercover reporter 'Fake Sheikh secretly filmed her' Mazher Mahmood, agreeing to grant him access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, in exchange for £500,000. According to a news source, a friend of Princess Beatrice's told American journalist Edward Klein in 2011 that the young royal was left devastated by her mum's betrayal.

In tapes acquired by reporters, Fergie was heard telling Mahmood that if he transferred the funds into her account, she would grant him access to Prince Andrew - the father of her two children, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie. "That opens up everything you would ever wish for. I can open any door you want, and I will work for you. Look after me, and he'll look after you ... you'll get it back tenfold," Fergie was heard saying

When the news broke, Princess Beatrice's friend reportedly had to stay two nights with her while the royal cried because of embarrassment. The then 21-year old royal wouldn't leave the house as she expected to deal more with the press.

Meanwhile, Prince Andrew came out saying he 'categorically' denied having any knowledge of his ex-wife's plan and later Sarah Ferguson said she 'deeply regretted' letting the family down. Despite divorcing 22 years ago, Prince Andrew's kindness extended to her at times of financial struggles, Fergie once said that if it weren't for her ex-husband, she would be "homeless." The couple still live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor
