The game has begun for the new houseguests of Big Brother Season 21. But not long after the premiere, the season’s first official elimination has now arrived.
Just a few hours ago, Ovi was evicted from the house by a clean sweep vote of 12-0. Although the first elimination process caused a commotion among the fans and viewers, the cards were turned for the unexpected houseguest, Ovi.
Ovi was the first official evictee of the season. But there was a houseguest who already left the house long before the premiere has concluded.
On David’s case, he was eliminated on the second premiere night of Big Brother Season 21. This is because he failed to find his way back to the house as per The Oprah Magazine. So, David did not become an official houseguest which made Ovi as the first official houseguest to be evicted.
But with all the technicalities at hand when it comes to the eviction and elimination, Julie Chen surprised the fandom when she revealed the latest twist that Big Brother has to offer.
She started by claiming that the evictee, Ovi, is not going anywhere. Consequently, she announced that “Camp Comeback” has now arrived and waiting for its guests.
As it happens, Camp Comeback is a whole new twist and game-changer for the houseguests, especially for the first four evictees of the season. For the first time, Big Brother Season 21 opens it backdoors and gives a chance to its evictees to still win the ultimate prize through its “comeback” twist.
Instead of officially leaving the house, Ovi and David will settle down in Camp Comeback wherein they will live separately in an uncomfortable setting. However, being inside the cabin entails that they will not be allowed to participate in any ceremony, competition, and voting that will happen inside the main house.
Once Camp Comeback fills its walls with the season’s first four evictees, one of them may safely return inside the main house and continue the fight to win the ultimate prize of Big Brother Season 21.
This surprised and shocked the fandom as this has never happened yet in the course of the show. But while some fans are glad to know that there is still a chance for Ovi and David, others, however, only perceive this twist as a nod to Survivor’s Edge of Extinction.
Even so, the fans of Ovi, especially of David, have now remained more hopeful as they can still be the ultimate winner the season.
