Yang Hyun Suk has admitted that Seungri's prostitution katalks were true.

Reporter Kang Kyung-yoon who first broke the allegations that Seungri procured sex services in the 'Burning Sun' case reportedly received a text message from Yang Hyun Suk.

Kang made the claim during an SBS podcast "Cinetown 19" on Friday and said, "Yang's mental condition is not very good. I received a text message from him once through another reporter right around the time we reported about Seungri's sexual favors back in February and released the Katalk chats. Yang sent me a message apologizing for when he had sent out a press release warning not to spread false information. He apologized and said, "I had to protect my kiddo at the time. I didn't mean for it to happen."

Earlier on February 26th, Kang first raised suspicions about former Big Bang member Seungri (29) procuring sexual favors for overseas investors, disclosing chat logs from a Kakao Talk conversation that Seungri shared with his acquaintances in 2015.

YG then issued their official stance on February 27, the day after the report, and said, "YG hopes that through police investigation, the truth about the reckless rumors will be revealed. If there are any issues, we will be subject to the appropriate legal punishment," he said. "If it turns out to be false, we will not only request a police investigation but also prepare for all legal actions by filing a complaint."

Then Seungri announced his retirement from the entertainment industry on March 11th after he was booked by police as a suspect over related allegations and YG revealed 2 days later that they have terminated their contract with him.

Meanwhile, Seungri was recently forwarded to prosecution on 7 charges including prostitution and embezzlement involving club Burning Sun.

In a broadcast by MBC 'Straight' in May, Yang Hyun Suk was accused of providing sex services to foreign investors and resigned from all posts at YG Entertainment. He underwent 9 hours of investigations regarding the case on June 25th.
