Fans will have to wait for a little while before they witness the continuation of Cat Chambers' (Poppy Montgomery) story in Reef Break Episode 3. As the next episode's release falls on Independence Day, ABC decides to move it on a later date.

"Buried Things" will begin with a plane crash. Unfortunately, the mishap will happen in the middle of the jungle, and there will be search and rescue to find the passengers and Petra (Tamala Shelton).

"The wreckage of a plane crash is discovered in the jungle," Reef Break Episode 3 official synopsis read. "It sparks the search for its passenger and a race to find Petra before it's too late."

According to CarterMatt, despite the drama of searching for Petra, the show will still feature funny moments. Its characters know when to have a good time if needs be and be serious if they have to.

In Reef Break Episode 3, there will be a lot of opportunities to live in the moment. However, if they find Petra too late, there may be a dire consequence for their actions.

Reef Break only launched on ABC on June 20. The show follows the life of Cat, a thief-turned-fixer for the Pacific Island paradise's governor. She will use her past experiences as an advantage in hunting the place's "nimble, cunning criminals."
