Henrik Fisker, head of the Fisker Inc. that has been developing a long-range all-electric sedan as well as an all-electric SUV, confirmed that the new pictures represent what the production model looks like. He said that the real production vehicles look like the sketch and it is scheduled for release in 2021.

The company released the teaser of its electric SUV earlier this year. The new circulating pictures of the vehicle look exactly as what the teaser portrays. The cars look good which is expected from the expertise of Fisker, having a successful automotive design career that includes heading up design for Aston Martin.

The vehicle is equipped with a unique interior that has amazing utility features. Fisker said that the company focus to bring a relevant and affordable electric vehicle to the market. He added that their business model is built around cost optimization to be able to offer a high-value proposition that also makes a double-digit profit margin.

The company plans to compete with Tesla's upcoming Model Y that is currently priced for order at $43,700. Mr. Fisker said that they would shoe a production-intent prototype in December this year and shortly before that we will start taking deposits. He plans to release the vehicles below $40,000. The cars will be built in the United States. The automotive designer said that they are in the final stages of finalizing our manufacturing facility in the middle of the United States. He said on his tweet that the company would provide extra safety when users are changing lanes.

The company is still in a rollercoaster ride since Mr. Fisker launched one of the first luxury vehicles in the market in 2008. His original company went bankrupt in 2014. He re-launched the company under the brand name Fisker Inc. in 2016. Since then, the company is still struggling to compete. The release of the vehicles in 2021 will bring its electric SUV to the market before the eMotion sedan that is currently held back because its solid-state batteries are not yet ready. The company is expecting the range for the electric SUV to reach around 300 miles using conventional lithium-ion technology. Currently, Tesla still struggles despite its smooth operation in China. Pulling off quality and price for its customers as well as a healthy profit margin for the company brings Fisker to a better road. Mr. Fisker is determined to make it happen.
