Max and Justin have been paired in Are You the One? Season 8 Episode 3. Although there seemed to be a possible match up between the two, something is getting on their way.
Max had a hard time to process the situation he was in. He perfectly knew Justin was also into him, but Max seemed a little hesitated of what he wanted from him.
According to CarterMatt, Max is still in the process of working who he really is. He has yet to reveal he is a bisexual in his hometown, compare to what people know of him in Los Angeles. Hence, he is confused about what kind of a person he is in Are You the One? Season 8.
Some people in the house feel the same way as Max does, so it is a safe environment for him to reveal who he really is. Here, someone will take care of him and embrace his real identity whenever he is ready to reveal his true self.

The show is only two episodes deep, so it is still hard to predict who will end up with who. Are You the One? Season 8 is said to be groundbreaking for featuring the members of the LGBTQ+ community for the first time.
There are only eight matches this time, compared to the previous seasons' usual 11 pairings. According to Heavy, Jenna and Kai were the first ones to couple up. On the first day, they already made out.
Kai even said in the confessional that he would understand if Jenna is her perfect match. But with his flirty ways, they might not still end up with each other. He even went to the boom-boom room with Remy later that night.
However, during the matching ceremony, Kai didn't match up with either of the two. So, Kai might have yet to meet his perfect match.
Amber and Nour may be the perfect match in Are You the One? Season 8. They even told the house that they are the best pair. They are really into each other. They also matched up during the matching ceremony, so there is a big chance that they will match up perfectly.
