The second season of BBC’s hit black comedy spy drama series, Killing Eve, just concluded two months ago. With a total of eight episodes for the season, it provided enough entertainment and enjoyment that truly attracted the fans toward the show. Accordingly, it is no wonder why the network immediately commissioned a new season.

Fortunately for the fans and viewers, Killing Eve Season 3 is already inked and sealed. This has been officially announced just a day after the premiere of the second season. So, the fate of Eve and Villanelle will certainly continue to live on come the next installment.

However, there is an apparent confusing among the fans of the show. This is because the cliffhanger of the second season left the fans in total wonder about Eva’s future. As it happened, Villanelle shot Eve during the last moments of the You’re Mine episode which undoubtedly surprised the fandom.

It is a possibility that Eve might meet her untimely demise. Not to mention, the title of the series, Killing Eve, largely speaks volume. But even so, it is still worth noting that Eve’s character is one of the most integral roles on the show. Hence, this matter caused huge confusion among avid fans and viewers.

But whatever the case, the upcoming season will still surely feature its two addicting and obsessing lead characters, Eve and Villanelle.

According to Elle, the newly commissioned season might arrive in early 2020. And this is consideration of the actual premiere dates of the previous two seasons. As it appears, every season normally arrives in April of each year. So, it is highly likely that Killing Eve Season 3 will premiere in April 2020.

Aside from the premiere dates, a lot of people are also speculating that the new season will also house a total of eight episodes.

In terms of its plot, little has been shared about its course. For all the fans know, the first episode of the new season will show what happened between Eve and Villanelle after the shooting incident.

But there are a few hints already that the showrunner, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, has given in an interview with HuffPost. As per her revelations, Killing Eve Season 3 might feature a role whom she would play. But she immediately shared her plans of letting Villanelle kill her character for the third season.
