SBS’ Good Sunday lineup is not complete without the 85-minute long episode of Running Man. Unfortunately, this was the case that happened last Sunday, June 30, when the lineup did not include the hit variety show.
For some undisclosed reason, the reality variety show took a week-long break. And without further announcements, the lineup last week went on incomplete.
The most recent installment to the show, Episode 457, aired last June 23. With its guests, a former member of I.O.I., Chingha, and Section TV’s host, Seol In-ah, the episode went on to feature a whole new landmark – Oil Tank Culture Park.
During the course, they were all given a mission to have the most “R” money. While everyone participated accordingly, even without having teams, Yoo Jae-suk won the race.
As for Seol In-ah, who had the least amount of “R” money, the television host chose Ji Suk-jin to execute the penalty that largely involves water bombs. Along with Ji Suk-jin, Lee Kwang-soo also joined the execution as he was the one went bankrupt after the race.
Episode 457 was filmed five days before the premiere. And just the day after, an all-new episode, 458, followed the filming process in advanced. However, everyone was surprised when Running Man did not provide the said episode upon the day of airing. But even so, it has been widely announced earlier this week that a new episode will arrive come the month of July.
According to Medium, a new landmark will be featured in the upcoming episode. While this is the norm of the show’s course, there are no further updates about its details. In fact, the only detail that has been shared about Running Man Episode 458 is its actual release date which is set on July 7.
But while the show took its own mini-break in the middle of the course, Episode 459 is already commissioned and filmed as well.
On June 25, Episode 459 was filmed. And it is now set to arrive on July 14 - just a week after the previous installment. Also, the guest stars are now revealed in advance for this episode.
Based on the reports, Jo Jung-suk and Yoona from Girl’s Generation are the star guests of this episode. Moreover, it is also hinted that there will be teams on Episode 459, which is not present in the course of the last few episodes of Running Man.
