Reality star Lisa Vanderpump has hit back at bashers who called her out for attending the wedding of Brittany and Jax so close to her mother's death. The Vanderpump Rules star also responded to trolls who accused her of leaving her mother to rot in a nursing home while she enjoyed the high life.
According to a report by Hollywood Life, Lisa Vanderpump responded to implications that her mother Jean Vandepump was not given proper care before her death last June 17. The reality star said that while she did not immediately release the cause of death of her mother to protect their privacy, she died of DVT, which stands for deep vein thrombosis.
Vanderpump responded to trolls through her Twitter account and said that there was no way to prepare for the medical emergency, which resulted in her mother's demise. She also responded to netizens who based her for attending the wedding of Vanderpump Rules cast members, Brittany and Jax, even though the nuptials came so close to her mother's funeral.
According to Lisa, she thought it would be a good idea to show her support and love for Brittany and Jax even though she was in mourning for her mother, Jean. Insiders close to the star also said that Lisa needed a distraction after two weeks of mourning to lift her spirits.
If Lisa Vanderpump needs more reasons to cheer up after her loss, it seems that the universe just might have something for the TV star. Bravo TV reported that Saveur Magazine recently named Lisa's Las Vegas restaurant, Vanderpump Cocktail Garden as one of the most Instagrammable restaurants in Las Vegas.
"The sumptuous night garden oasis is every bit as glamorous as its owner and her Los Angeles restaurants. From the plush velvet walls and hanging greenery to the flickering candlelight and romantic chandeliers, Vanderpump Cocktail Garden delivers the decadence and the photogenic cocktails - like Puff The Magic Dragon, a blend of mezcal, dragon fruit, lemon, orange bitters, firewater bitters, jalapeño, and tajin," the magazine cited.
This seal of approval from Saveur Magazine comes at the heels of Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood bar Tom Tom picking up the award for best bar in Southern California as voted by the readers of Los Angeles Travel magazine only this February, an amazing feat for a celebrity owned establishment.
