The Kardashian-Jenner clan is reportedly fearful of the chance that there might be a reunion between Khloe Kardashian, 35, and Tristan Thompson, 28. Thompson has reportedly been pouring all his efforts into convincing the reality star to take him back and has become more persistent in doing so.
Although she cannot say she is unfazed by his pleas, Khloe has certainly remained firm in rebuffing all his attempts to reconcile with her. She also claims there is no way she and her ex-boyfriend will ever rekindle their relationship, and that there is no more room for a romantic relationship with Thompson in her life anymore.
Despite Khloe's strong front, she is still suffering from the pain of the multiple cheating scandals and is said to still be grieving the relationship, albeit its toxicity. Sources revealed that the NBA player's begging and groveling for them to get back together has made her feel very confused and is messing with her head.
It is highly commendable though, accordingly, how she is holding up and rejecting all of Thompson's antics which she knows will just suck her back into the never-ending cycle of hurt and shame she has been in for the duration of their relationship.
According to some sources, Khloe admits that she cannot fathom ever going back to Thompson again and has said that he is all out of opportunities to be on her good side and win her back.
On the other hand, still other sources close to the family have confirmed that the Kardashians and Jenners are becoming increasingly concerned that Khloe's emotions may overwhelm her and cloud her judgment about the whole thing. On the other hand, they fear Thompson might be successful enough in persuading Khloe to take him back while being in such a vulnerable state. This is something that the whole family is apparently struggling with.
In addition to the recent cheating scandal involving Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods, and Thompson, who were allegedly making out at a party held in the latter's own house, the 28-year-old athlete was also previously caught cheating while Khloe was days away from giving birth to their daughter, True.
Even after being caught red-handed, Khloe had swallowed everything down and took him back for the sake of their daughter. It was a move which had led to her receiving tons of backlash from fans of the reality television show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Fans had been beating her up about taking back the cheater and not having an "ounce of self-worth."
Khloe tells sources that, for now, the only thing she is willing to do is welcome him as a co-parent and nothing more than that. Presently, they are trying to agree on a co-parenting strategy for their one-year-old daughter.
