BLACKPINK's Lisa has made another statement on streaming platform youtube after she earned a Gold Play Button for reaching 1 million subscribers for her channel. It seems more and more fans around are becoming more interested in the activities of the Thai rapper of the K-pop idol group.

Lisa Manoban's Instagram page Lilifilm Official has received the Gold Play Button for youtube for reaching over a million subscribers on the platform. A testament to the BLACKPINK member's extreme popularity is that it managed to achieve the feat given that she has only uploaded a total of four videos on her channel, the Geek Herald reported.

The low number of videos uploaded by Lisa comes as no surprise because of BLACKPINK's ongoing Your Area World Tour to promote their Kill This Love EP. Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose have been working hard, performing for sold-out crowds in North America, Europe, Australia, and most recently, Asia, which entails hours of rehearsal and practice time. BLACKPINK is expected to perform for three nights of sold-out stages in Bangkok this month.

Lisa also proved her social media power when she became the most followed female Kpop artist on Instagram with 20 million fans eagerly awaiting each update. BLACKPINK Lisa only started maintaining her Instagram page in 2018, reported BT.

Apart from popularity on social media, fans of Lisa also expressed pride at the BLACKPINK's members effortless fashion sense. Lisa recently attended Paris Fashion Week, where she wowed the fans with her outfits, even walking the streets of the fashion capital.

Lisa also made waves at the finale of Paris Fashion Week when fans screamed out loud when they saw the BLACKPINK member sitting in the front row of designer Slimane's runway. She was also announced as the fashion brand's new official muse, Jakarta Post reported.

BLINKs, however, expressed their displeasure over YG Entertainment's lax security for its artists when media outfits revealed photographs of Lisa'a arrival at the Incheon Airport. Fans observed that Lisa was almost mobbed by fans who wanted to take pictures of the Thai rapper because of the very lax security from her agency.

The image was a far cry from JYP Entertainment's handling of TWICE members who arrived in the same airport an hour later. The well-organized security detail for the Kpop idols was compared to the way Lisa's arrival was handled, and fans wasted no time sharing their thoughts on social media to ensure that BLACKPINK will be well protected at all times as well.
