One of the best things about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was undoubtedly Chirrut Imwe and his absolute faith in the power of the Force. It also helped that he was played by none other than Donnie Yen, who is known as one of Hong Kong's top action stars. Although Chirrut had a depressing end in Rogue One, it looks like Yen continues to look up to his blind character and the power of the Force. Yen has just participated in the new trend #BottleCapChallenge and he did it while blindfolded.
In Rogue One, Chirrut Imwe was a blind warrior who believes in the Force and it seems like the Force did work through him. Chirrut sensed the kyber crystal that Jyn Erso wears around her neck and immediately called her attention about it. He and his friend Baze Malbus later aid Jyn and Cassian Andor when the two are accosted by Imperial stormtroopers. Although he himself is not a Force user, Chirrut continued to profess his faith until his last breath.
Donnie Yen clearly wants to emulate Chirrut Imwe in some of his non-Star Wars activities. For instance, he decided to participate in the #BottleCapChallenge, which has been taken by celebrities like Jason Statham and John Mayer. However, Yen's challenge takes it one step further. Before he kicks at the bottle, he puts on a blindfold and casually proceeds to uncap the bottle with ease.
Doing the #BottleCapChallenge blindfolded isn't the only awesome thing that the Star Wars actor did in his video. Donnie Yen also chose to use a glass bottle with a metal cap instead of the usual plastic bottles many people use in the challenge. He also mentioned his other most popular movie character Ip Man and declared that all these combined ensured that the universe is at its strongest.

The possible return of Chirrut Imwe in a Star Wars movie might not be happening anytime soon but fans can still expect to see Donnie Yen in action in the near future. The XXX: Return of Xander Cage actor has been cast as a general in the remake of the Disney classic Mulan.
